Easy DIY Transfer 
Using your own heat press is the most affordable, and convenient way to create and sell your own printed t-shirts and apparel. It gives you professional, high-quality results right from your home or shop on your own schedule.

File Requirements
  • Format: Save only as a PNG file. Save in portrait format with 22" as your maximum width. You can still rotate your images however you need within this frame. To make cutting each design convenient, consider leaving space in-between each design.
    If your file size does not match your order, production will be delayed, until we receive the size you ordered, or the order is changes.
  • Background: Must be fully transparent (no JPGs allowed).
  • Resolution: Set exactly to 300 DPI for crisp prints.
  • Gradients: Avoid soft fades or gradients for best results.
  • Opacity: Avoid semi-transparent pixels; all design elements must be 100% solid.

Standard Pressing Parameters
  • Temperature: 290°F – 310°F (143°C – 154°C) For polyester or blends.
    300°F – 325°F (149°C – 160°C) For cotton.
  • Time: 10 – 15 seconds
  • Pressure: Medium to Firm (60+ PSI)
  • Peel Type: Cold Peel Only (Wait 1-2 minutes until completely cold).
  • Post-Press: Press again for 5 seconds with a Teflon sheet for durability.
DTF Heat Press Troubleshooting Guide
Issue Root Cause Solution
Design peeling off Low temperature or weak pressure. Increase heat by 10°F and tighten pressure.
Ink smearing/bleeding Too much heat or pressed too long. Lower temperature or reduce press time.
Bubbles under print Trapped moisture in the fabric. Pre-press your garment for 5 seconds before applying.
Film lifting design Peeling while the film is still warm. Let the transfer cool completely to the touch before peeling.
Faded colors Insufficient pressure or low DPI file. Verify gauge reads medium-to-firm pressure.

Washing & Care Instructions
  • Turn inside out: Wash garments inside out to protect the design from abrasion.
  • Water temp: Use cold or warm water only.
  • Detergent: Mild detergent; avoid bleach and fabric softeners.
  • Drying: Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry for longest life.
  • Ironing: Never iron directly on the printed design.
